living in this world infected
[atrb=border,0,true] It was way too early to be functioning, or at least for Jackson it was. That was the fact in his mind and it probably would be fact for the rest of the day. Jackson squeezed his eyes shut and then squeezed his hands into fists before he even let another thought flow through his mind. His head was pounding slightly, but he was not sure if he was getting sick or if he was just hung over. He was probably hung over, since he did remember going out last night with a couple friends. The boy then groaned and rubbed his face with his hands but kept his blue eyes shut. By that point he was not sure if two minutes had passed or maybe a whole hour. Honestly it was hard to say and he really did not care. He should get up though; there was no point in wasting the day away. Not like he had to do anything today but whatever. And who knew, maybe something interesting would happen while he was out. He obviously was not going to have anything fun happen if he was sitting in here laying on his ass like a bum all day was he? So he decided what the hell? Might as well get up then. But when he opened his eyes he realized that it was super fucking bright outside. Someone needed to go turn off the sun or something. This really was ridiculous. Who decided that they needed to open the curtains in this bus anyways? He was going to kill that person. Once his eyes adjusted to the bright light he opened them and then he realized that he was still facing the wall. Well that was attractive. He rolled over so that he was focusing on his ceiling now. It was a dirty ceiling. But then again, this was a shitty ass apartment and he did not want to leave it. Sure, he could probably afford one a little more nicer than this but Jackson thought it had charm. If that charm meant neighbors screaming at all hours of the night and the blaring music that was always coming on then sure. But it was home and anywhere else probably would have been too quiet. Besides, if someone ever shot him in the stomach he could scream out and people would hear him. So there was always that and that was important to him. Jackson had no intentions of dying on accident. If he was going to die it was going to be on his own terms god dammit. That was probably a little depressing but it was what it was and there was nothing that he could do about it. It was just how he felt he supposed. And with that he got up and moved on with the rest of his day. It seemed to pass by in a blur. He had a couple of people call him up looking to score and he even snorted some stuff that he really did not like but hey whatever. Anything for a friend. By the time he was done with his “errands” it was still early into the evening and he did not want to go home right now. So why not go to a bar for a few more hours? It was not like he was doing anything illegal there anyways, at least from what people could prove. So he turned on his heel and walked to his favorite bar, pretty damn excited to be there. And when he actually walked in he sat down and then ordered his regular. A jack and coke. Pretty simple and it did its job for sure. So he continued to drink his drink, praying that nobody would bother him. TAGGED spencer ( amanda ) NOTES and so it begins >D |
