as tony logged off the chat, he was literally grinning. he finally did it, he asked red out. and he said yes. sure, the thought of being out still scared him but something about red just made him know that everything was going to bed okay. plus, he didn't want that stupid drag queen stealing red before he got the chance. who would of thought that eric fucking chester would be the one to push tony into saying fuck it and taking the risk. he got dressed, locking up his iguanas in their room and smiling at them. "daddy's gotta go meet his boyfriend," he smirked, with his stupid grin still plastered across his face. after getting in his car and driving over to the bar. he made his way into the bar, looking around for red.

"Okay," Red told himself, getting up and putting a white shirt on, jeans, and toms. Alright, time to go see his boyfriend. Stopping by the shop to make sure everything was locked up, he made his way over to the bar him and Tony were going to go hang out at. Tony wasn't really out of the closet but they were dating. Red had an issue with him being in the closet. Going to the bar, he spotted Tony and smiled.

tony turned to see red and that grin was back, he walked over to him sort of nervously and nodded. "hey you," he felt his stomach flip a million times, he really wanted to kiss him right then and there and after looking around at the crowd; seeing that they were either in their own misery or blacked out drunk to care, he did. tony placed a small, yet meaningful, kiss on red's lips before taking a step back and smirking. this was definitely some progress, progress indeed.

"Aw." Red smiles a bit and ran his hand through his hair. "So when do you plan to come out?" Red asked, curious. He assumed that Tony was going to come out of the closet. It would be kind of frustrating if he didn't. Red could wait a week or two but anything longer then that, Red would be upset.

tony was a little taken back by red's question, i mean they were literally dating for thirty minutes and he was already bringing up tony being out? he sighed, shrugging his shoulders a bit. "i mean, i wasn't planning on it tonight or anything?" he cocked his head in the direction of the bar, walking over with red and ordering two beers and sitting up on the bar stool. "look, i get it. you're out so you want me out so it's not like this big secret but i just need a little time. i mean, i know i told five people. eric's gonna go around telling everyone, and not for nothing but i did ask you out in a public chatroom. so i'm trying?" tony took a few swigs from the beer bottle, looking at red with a small smile on his face.

"Of course I don't mean tonight. I mean just in the near future." Red chuckled. He kissed Tony's cheek. Some if the things Red did were teenageish but it was cute. "Good. And it'll be okay." Red smiled. He wanted tony to feel comfortable coming out to people.

tony shrugged, and smiled as the boy kissed his cheek. although, after he did that his eyes scanned the room for a quick second. "i'll see what i can do," he stuck his tongue out at red and took another sip from his beer. it'll be okay, could he be so sure? he always had that doubt, until he looked at red. "why are you so awesome?" he smirked, tilting his head to the side and looking into red's eyes still smiling.

"no one cares," red assured tony as he looked around the room. "i don't know. i think my parents fucked in a special way." red shrugged a bit. glancing around the bar, he saw a few people give second glances at them. "so," red smiled.

tony nodded, agreeing with red. no no i know, i'm sorry." he sighed, reaching his hand out and taking red's hand in his. as much as tony wanted to look around the room to see who was looking at the hand holding, he didn't. he had finally gotten red and wasn't going to let his stupid insecurities ruin it. "so, it's official. my minnie's not my minnie anymore!" he pouted, lacing his fingers between red's as he did so.

"you can look around if you need to."[ red told him. pouting for tony, he shook his head "did the girl seem okay? like she didn't seem like a crazy microwaving hamster type of lady?" figuring that would freak him out red made another comment "she seemed lovely."

he smiled as red told him he could look around if he needed to, but tony shook his head. "i need to stop giving a fuck, that's my problem." he smiled again, this time it was a real smile. as red started asking weird questions about zelda, then quickly changing his theory to make him feel better, tony let out a small laugh and sighed. "no really sweet girl, and minnie took to her almost instantly. purring and curling up in her hands, it was fucking adorable." he smirked and sighed. "the iguanas love it now though, wandering around the house and shit when i was home." tony took another swig of his beer, sighing aloud after he swallowed. his eyes grazed red's face, he didn't say anything he just looked at him. he was so cute, he couldn't stand it. tony's eyes dropped down to their hands, and he smiled before looking back up at red. "so, after we have these few beers what are we doing tonight?" honestly, red could have said we're going to a museum to learn about how staples were made and tony would have been excited. he'd go anywhere as long as he were going with red, he just made him feel like he could be himself. shit, tony wouldn't even let himself be himself. this was something a lot deeper than just 'oh here you're my boyfriend now'. tony knew red was going to be around for a while, and he was perfect with that thought.

"People," Red paused, trying to think of the right words "are a lot better than you give them credit for.". He tried to come up with a reasonable explination but decided to keep it to himself until and if Tony asked. "People will be okay with it." Red nodded a bit. "At least you can visit Minnie. By the way, how do people not know your gay? Minnie? That is" Red did that gay hand motion thing like the 'stawwwp' thing "flaming" He streached out the word so it sounded like flaaaammiing. "Hm," Red bit his lip, thinking "We could go to the movies, mall, muesum, I don't care. Anywhere seems like fun.".

tony listened to red, shrugging before sighing. "well, the people i've grown up around are fucking assholes." and it was true. over the tracks, you got beat up for your race; orientation; religion; income; the clothes you wore; etc. he shrugged, not a shrug like saying red was wrong but letting him know that he understands and he hopes it can happen, it's just not something he's used to. then he started fucking with him about what he named the kitten, he laughed shaking his head. "fuck you, minnie is a cute name for a kitten." he began running his thumb along the back of red's hand, smiling while he did it. he laughed again as red did his 'flaming' gesture. "you're too much, you know that?" then red through out some ideas, and tony smirked. "there's a park like a block or two over, you wanna go?" he laughed, being serious though.
