note again. sixteen candles burn in her mind,
HI I'M KRISTIAN AND THIS IS ME:
Well, let’s start off with the fact that Kris is a twin and it’s given him a majorly painful inferiority complex. He’s the quiet one, the one that sits back and watches the world go by. He’s been living in his brother Aleksei’s shadow from the time they were little, and it hurts. Hell, it stings. It’s honestly brought him to resent the other creature enough to block him from his life. Though they’re seniors in high school together, they couldn’t be more different.
Alek is outgoing. Kristian is an introvert. He’d rather watch the people go by than be a part of their crowd. Something about being a part of the herd doesn’t appeal to him like it does Alek. His brother, blond and shining and handsome, is the life of the party. He can pull off things like glitter and wit and sparkle and all things simply beautiful. Kristian is a wallflower. He wants to watch and soak up and use them all for the value of his entertainment… other than that, he doesn’t give a damn about the tattered mass. They aren’t his problem.
They’re Aleksei’s problem. Alek has made an effort to bring his brother into the fold, sure. He can see the fact that his brother is cute in the boyishly endearing sort of way. Kristian has been drunk at his brother’s accord more than once. It’s when he’s impaired, when he’s flying that things get… well… interesting. The introvert can outshine his brother only then, taking on a light far brighter than the other man could have ever imagined. It disgusts him when he looks back on it, when he finds the pictures on his phone of some girl with his tongue down his throat or himself in a shirtless rage dancing on a table. He withdraws after the incidents. It’s a vicious cycle.
Kristian misses home, to be honest. His father accepted a job transfer here from Berlin, the young man’s real home. He speaks fluent German and some Russian because of his heritage and has a rather ragged accent when he finally can be dragged into English. He’d rather pretend he doesn’t speak the language than be faced with the nagging feeling that someone here needs to know who he is to get inside his head. It makes him sick, the idea that he was pulled from the world he loves right before graduation. In reality, Kris just wants out.
she take the blame, it's always the same.
