note again. sixteen candles burn in her mind,
HI I'M JADE AND THIS IS ME:
’’Don’t worry honey I’m not going to hurt you’’
Those were words that were uttered far too often during Jades childhood on the nights her father would come in her room to tuck her in and stay much longer then he should have. He violated her but he was never abusive about it at least not when she was younger because she had just assumed this was how all fathers treated their daughters. She never knew her mother because she committed suicide shortly after she was born so all she ever really knew was the life her father had provided for her. He often told her that she was special and that their special time together must not be told to anyone so she kept to herself and eventually he got his friends involved too, started filming and selling it off just to the people he knew and she took it until she was about thirteen years old and she realized after a health class about abuse what was really happening. That was the night she fought back and the first night her father ever laid a hand on her violently. He beat her until she didn’t have the energy to fight back and reminded her that if she ever tried that again he would have no problem beating her up. So she didn’t and she took the abuse until she turned seventeen years old and one night when her dad was passed out in the living room she packed up her shit and ran not daring to look back.
’’Don’t forget where you came from’’
After she left home she got on the first bus out of town which happened to be one straight to New York city, sure it cost her most of the money she had saved up but it was worth it just to get out of town and as far away from her past as possible. The only problem was that when her feet hit New York soil she didn’t have anywhere to go or any place to turn to. She carried a bag over her shoulder and for the first few months she lived on the streets until she met a tall handsome stranger who showed her the way to the underground. The way she looked at it prostituting wasn’t anything different from what her father had done to her except she was going to get paid a lot of money for what she was going to do. She had always been a pretty girl and that was the main reason Drew had decided she was perfect to join his operation. She brought in a lot of money, enough to keep her alive and to support her alcohol and drug habits that had taken off quickly sure it wasn’t an ideal life but it was the only one she really knew.
’’ You drank the Poison and I let you in’’
At the age of twenty three Jade has saved enough money to stop with the prostituting and ditch that life for the most part. She’s still hard into the drugs, parties and alcohol but those habits will probably never die. She lives in a condo and she’s currently unemployed but you’ll always see her hitting the hottest clubs or the best drug dealers to get her fix and have some fun. She’s very much haunted by her past, she’s cold hearted, feisty, stubborn and has a really hard time letting anyone get to close to her. She doesn’t believe in love and she can be a bitch if you get on her bad side. She thinks friends are fake and she’d really rather just spend her time alone unless she’s drunk or high cause then she gets along with most people. She’s an absolute mess most days and she’s been in the hospital numerous times because of almost over dosing or alcohol poisoning. She also has an eating disorder and this fear of getting fat but she doesn’t really share that with most people. If you can get through her walls she’s a pretty ok person it just takes awhile for her to warm up to you.
